It was a pleasure to work with Mike in the Health and Human Sciences Faculty Office. Mike had such a great sense of fun and we loved hearing of his travel tales and of his family whom he spoke so warmly about. Mike's notices were legendary, there was one for every occasion from how not to get lost on the way to the 'new' part of the Wright Building to how to make sure you got out of the lift on the right floor. Mike was very kind and he would treat us to a delicious Tarte Tatin whenever he had any leftover apples. I still have a book Mike gave me as a present called 'Rosie' which was written and personally signed by Alan Titchmarsh, it was a lovely surprise. Such happy memories. My thoughts are with the Fossey family, love Rose (aka Rosie) x
